Glad alot of people got to hang out finally!!!! Great job!!!" - Michael Quijano
"I had the most wonderful time meeting my Brothers in the Hood, This was the best Seminar that I have been to in 17 years, man it doesn't get any better than this! I finally could say that yes JKD will continue till the world is over as long as we have this brotherhood!" - Tony Santiago
"It was great to be there with Jesse, Ted, and all the gang. Very nice to meet some of you forum guys. I'm also glad that a few of us gung fu guys were allowed to crash the JKD party, ha.
Great job Paul B, and I hope you can do more events like this in the future. Very beneficial, IMHO." - Mike Petrovich
"Bax's JKD Brotherhood in the flesh. I can't wait to hear of the experiences!" - Norm Seto
"What a great seminar! To Jesse Glover & Ted Wong thank you for agreeing to do this seminar together. Thank you also, for sharing with all of us your knowledge. I had a great time with my friends/students and everyone that I talk to and trained with. Good times!! Paul did a great job, for his first seminar...I will make some comments to Paul later on how to improve it for the next time in my opinion (Out of respect to Paul, this will be made only to him. Sorry guys). For being his first, he did an outstanding job. Thanks Paul, for the good time and hard work you put into this thing...
To all that came, thank you for the experience....I will write later some more.
John McNabney hugging George Hajnasr
Say What, OK! I thought we both said good bye, with a hug...LOL It's all good
p.s Tony Santiago. Thank you, for that tip on Chi-Sao. I will be picking your brain on this again. It show's your experience in JKD. You made my experience fun and you made me laugh a lot. I just wish I could have taken you up on that drink, Friday night you offer. Next time for sure...LOL
I would highly recommend training with Tony guys, it is obvious he is my senior in Chi-Sao.....How's that for keeping "IT" real?
JM" - John McNabney
"Victor....You are a awesome person. I really liked talking to you and hanging out with you, both nights.
You keep "IT" real, my new friend." - John McNabney
"Between the training and drive home... I'm exhausted. But I wouldn't have missed it for nothing!!! Truely one of the best seminars that I have ever been to!" - Robert Kerbo
"Man this was a great event on so many levels.... it greatly exceeded my expectations and I cant do it justice in a few lines but will try.... As others have said the camraderie was great!!! There was really no ONE camp but people from differet camps per say but all getting along great... Ted and Jesse's presentations were quite different but at the same time both 100% Bruce Lee material and both highly effective... I know my appreciation for the earlier stuff was massively increased due to Jesse's teaching! I met long time students of Dan's who were great guys .. present were students of everyone under the sun JKD wise and there didnt seem to be any barriers present... everyone seemed to enjoy everyones company and I met some truly great guys.... guys who were far cooler in person than I would have thought ...I hope to let this be a new beginning for me.... Rafael.. is a very skilled and conditoned athlete , no doubt .... Tony Santiago was like a long time friend although we just met... a very kind guy who was in a contagious good mood... John McNabney performed at a high skill level as did his students.... It was good to see my Old friend Richard Torres after 8 years... Victor Colon was his usual nice and cool self...Papa george
was his usual jovial self ... and a talented JKD man and he brought his ever wonderful student Bob Ball....Marvin Rice and Mike Sheng were both very skilled at the chi sao and trapping as well as the punching kicking.... Bax did a great job of making everything work out .... Jesse and Ted made a perfect combo of teachers.... Again, these two had never taught a full seminar together and it did make for a better teaming than one could imagine as these two clearly admire and respect each other... again .. I could go on and on and say nice things about everyone there.... I hope Bax will do the event again next year and for those that didnt come... you really missed out on what I feel time will show to have been a historical event in JKD!!!!" - Bob Landers
"Thanks for the compliment Bob. Was cool to meet you as well. I enjoyed the chemistry, friendship.
It did feel like a brotherhood. Funny we were taking bets who would be in the next flame war.lol Johnny(both of you, riggio, mcnabney)Thanks .Richard,Tony,Victor,te querro mucho mi hermanos. I even gave big George a kiss on the ground.(Bax knows what I mean)Doc h,ebony, all cool dudes.
It shows how people are on line is only a part of how they really are and the best judge of character and skill is eyeball to eyeball.

-Jim Riggio
"Greetings all!
Glad to see that everyone is making it home safe from the seminar. I am still here at the hotel about to start my trek back to Florida. Paul, outstanding job my friend, and great to meet you!!! It was a pleasure to have been able to attend this event; Jesse Glover and Ted Wong were in great spirits - awesome! The seminar attendees were diverse and it was very cool to meet many of the people that correspond on the JKD Brotherhood forum, very talented practitioners indeed. Thanks to those that helped me with Jesse¡¦s material, very interesting and what an honor to have received a fat lip from Jesse Glover himself !!
John, I must say that I am not surprised with the caliber of your students, as they have outstanding guidance in you my friend. I enjoyed training with you and your students, and it was great talking to you and sharing thoughts over a beverage.

"I was going to mention in my above post (but deleted it...) that this Disiples of the Dragon seminar was also a really good thing that all you guys finally met up face-to-face ! Because meeting someone eye to eye as Raf say can be a real eye opener - and you find out that the forum personality one thought the other had is not really what one expected in real life. I think that you are all good guys here even though we sometimes do not see eye-to-eye on certain things, and we have to be reminded how fragile we are especially when our two dear OBLS Larry Hartsell and Herb Jackson sadly passed away – and all this "paper/forum" fighting over small things are really not what this is all about, it is about being united and have respect for each other and build friendship – and yes, of course it is also healthy with good arguments and so it should be – but it should be a functional conflict with respect, not an emotional one.... And also, bear in mind that sometimes irony or humour are not always easily spotted when communicating with just plain text…

"Hello everyone. I just arrived home. Like everyone mentioned, we had a great time. It was nice meeting everyone up and close and personal.
Paul, you did a great job with the seminar. Everything worked out well. The Double Tree Hotel was a great choice to hold the event. Sunday night, the place was empty. Victor and I were left, so we went out to dinner.
Nice seeing Victor, Tony, Rafael, John M., Papa George, Bob Ball, Bob Landers, Mike Sheng, Marvin Rice and others (sorry if I forgot anyone).
But having Ted Wong and Jesse Glover together is always great. Hearing their stories at Breakfast and Dinner is always an added bonus. They were top-notch when they were teaching.
Somehow the Hotel decided to put many of us on the Seventh Floor, which worked out well because we were able hang out together in George's and Tony's joining rooms. Yes, we watched Boxing on Saturday Night and Sifu Ted joined us. Jesse opted to stay in the Lobby to talk to some of the participants.
Paul, thank you and your wife for providing lunch for all of us on Sunday. The Chinese Buffet on Saturday Night was also a great choice. There was a lot of food at that Buffet.
Tony Santiago and George Hajnasr, you guys made me laugh, thanks. Everyone else, thanks for the Brotherhood.
P.S.
There is a lot of talent in this Brotherhood. Let's continue sharing.
Thanks.
Richard Torres"
"Paul will be posting some picture's for me. I have been thinking about the experience all day today, wow what a experience!
Jim Riggio, Bob Ball, Mike Sheng, Joe Thompson, Kip Brockett, Ujwail Bhattad it was nice talking to you guys....If I forgot anyone sorry.
Master P (George), Tony Santiago, Jim Rigggio, Victor Colon, Robert Kerbo, Ujwai Bhattad, Rafael and I forgot the name of the others (I'm sorry guys, I'm not good with names). Thanks for training with me, I enjoyed the experience.
Victor, George, Bob thanks for nice thoughts...
Guys, this seminar was what I call Keeping "IT" Real. Look forward the next time hanging out with everyone. I thought St. Louis was nice city. I took some picture's of the Arch for those of us that couldn't find the time or means to see it. As well for the forum memebers..
Peace-Out!
JM"
"I hope Paul will have this event each year and in addition to the great training we can work on being better friends and having a blast together I would not change much.. I think jesse and ted gave a good contrast of the different eras and both really showed what was good about both.... I had never seen jesse as much as this seminar and he was an impressive man.. Ted was even complimenting on seeing Jesse recently in Seattle and that even at their ages jesse is showing massive improvement.... Indeed Jesse looked far better than he did ten years ago (and he looked great then!)" - Bob Landers
"Man you guy's don't know how much I admired everyone at this seminar. I am holding back the tears because I didn't want to leave. Ifelt so at home, its's like GOD waited this long to show me what real love and Brotherhood is all about, I told my son Julian that I hung out with the Brothers who made you a miricle to me ,"The JKD Brotherhood" Brothers who will be there for you when I'm gone! Paul you Know how much you and being at this seminar meant to me and my Son, Thank you all for your kind words, I just hope that I may be able to share with everyone all I have exp[irenced in this Life Time. LOL!" Tony Santiago
"I HAD A BLAST! This seminar was 2nd to none! Sifu Ted Wong and Jessie shared some excellent information with all in attendance. It was an absolute honor to be Jessie's demonstration dummy. All the people there were as cool as they come. Paul, Victor, Richard, Tony, Mike S, Mike P, George, Kip, Scott, Raf, (sorry if I forgot anyone)...these guys are all very skilled and a cool as a fan! Can't wait to do this again...hit us up if you every fall through Michigan.
